Getting Started

Getting Started

-Clark Hibbs

Getting started can be very, very difficult.

Just the thought of starting anything (let alone something as personal as health and fitness) can get you nervous, stressed, and kick up a serious case of anxiety.

Those nerves and anxiety can overcome you, discourage you, and cause you to stay stuck in the same rut you’re in.

You aren’t alone in this. We’ve ALL been there. We all know the feeling too well. You are not alone.

This isn’t something to beat yourself up over.

We all have our fears and anxieties… what’s important is trying your best to set yourself up to be as successful as possible when you get started. I know, I know… super cliché, but it’s true.

Take me, for example. I get stuck in workout ruts all the time. As in, I blow off my workouts regularly. I’ll even sometimes find myself saying that “I just don’t have time to get that workout in.”

**Isnt that just ridiculous? I literally work in a Gym. I always have time to workout. I just tend to prioritize working.**

But when I look at those situations, I realize I’m not setting myself up for success.

You see, if I want to get a good workout in that I’m proud of, and a workout that’s going to make me feel awesome, accomplished, and empowered, I have to workout with a group of people.

I have to set myself up to take a class here at CrossFit Yellow Rose. I’m incapable of working out by myself.

Yes, the fitness trainer man can not workout by himself. I’m not ashamed to admit that. I just won’t do it. Or, if I somehow convince myself to do it, it will be a half-assed effort.

I just don’t have that drive to workout solo.

But if you put me in a room with a bunch of other people doing the same thing? Oh man. Game on.

It’s time to workout.
It’s time to let some stress out.
It’s to accomplish something I wouldn’t have done by myself.

And most importantly…

It’s time to feel really, REALLY good about myself.

I’m the best version of myself when I get a great workout, and I think a lot of you are too.

If you’re like me, and you struggle to workout on your own, come by our gym.

What to expect:
-A super fun workout with a bunch of other people.
-Support and encouragement like you’ve never received before.
-A kick-ass and empowering feeling as you leave the gym knowing you just did something awesome for yourself.

We are open to anyone and everyone. No experience is required. All you have to do is contact us, set up a time to meet us, and we’ll take care of the rest.

We’re so excited to meet you, work with you, and show you what you’re capable of.

Getting started is tough, but it’s a lot easier with the right people.

We’re the right people for you.
