You Don’t Have To Be Perfect. You Just Have To Show Up.

Something I hear from potential members all the time… “I need to be in shape to do CrossFit.” This couldn’t be further from the truth. The first step to getting in shape is just to walk through the doors. There’s something that I tell people (especially new people) all the time…

You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to show up.

There’s a lot of good waiting for you if you just walk through those doors. I promise. 

By show up, I mean that’s literally all you have to do… just show up. It’s OUR job as coaches to get you through the rest. We will never leave you out to dry, or leave you to fend for yourself. We will always be there to support you and keep you moving in the right direction. We will be there to teach you new movements, to gauge your levels of fitness, to answer all of your questions, to make you feel comfortable, to push you to your limits, show tough love when you need it, and genuine love when you need it most. You don’t have to be perfect in here.

You just have to show up.

We understand that you’ve never done this before, or it’s been a while and you’re nervous. We will take you through everything step by step for the entire class. You are our priority, and we will take care of you. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never exercised before, or that you don’t know what the movements are. The fact that you are HERE in the building makes us hungry and excited to work with you and see where this can take you. We don’t need you to be perfect.

You just have to show up.

There will be a community of people surrounding you with unrelenting positivity and encouragement. These people come from all walks of life. They are all different ages, races, religions. They all work different jobs. They are all unique people with their own unique stories. But what unites everyone is the willingness to take control of their lives and move forward with their health and wellness, rather than accepting the societal norm that as we grow older, we should grow weaker and less fit. We don’t expect perfection on day one.

You just have to show up.

We want to help you grow and thrive. We want to help you feel like you’re on top the world and you’re bursting at the seams with confidence. We want you to leave here better than you were the day before. We want you to grasp hold of the mindset that we are always working to be 1% better than we were yesterday. Because a 1% improvement every single day leads to massive changes down the road. It doesn’t mean you have to be perfect.

You just have to show up.
